Dr. Shauna Lushko completed her optometric education at Illinois College of Optometry in 2007. She advanced her training by accepting an ocular disease residency at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. During this residency, she had the distinguished opportunity to lecture OSU students as adjunct faculty. On completion of her residency, she has been working in ophthalmology practices – advancing her clinical expertise in disease, contact lens fitting, and co-management for procedures such as cataract extraction, SLT, and Lasik. Dr. Shauna Lushko has been an affiliate of TLC since 2009 and serves as clinical director of TLC Laser Eye Centers in Pittsburgh, PA.
Dr. Lushko is a strong supporter and advocate for the Western PA Optometric Society. She has an active role on the board as treasurer since 2012. She is a board member for the Washington-Greene County Blind Association. Dr. Lushko has provided services to her community by giving lectures on topics regarding Diabetic Eye Awareness, Eye Safety, and Fire Safety. She is currently a volunteer as a Big Sister in the Big Brother Big Sister Program.
