Dr. Ross is an honors graduate of Indiana University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with minors in both psychology and chemistry. She earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Indiana University School of Optometry where she was inducted into both Beta Sigma Kappa and Gold Key International Honor Societies. While earning her degree, Dr. Ross also served as national student liaison for the College of Optometrists in Vision Development.
During her optometric training, Dr. Ross completed her clinical internships at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami, Florida and also with the Indiana University Medical Group and the IU Emergency Health Care Center. Dr. Ross continued her post-graduate training by completing an ocular disease residency at Omni Eye Services.
After the completion of her residency, Dr. Ross entered the refractive surgery field by serving as Center Director and lead optometrist with Lasik Plus in Woodbridge, NJ. While with Lasik Plus, Dr. Ross was responsible for the evaluation of all patients interested in refractive surgery providing patient education and understanding of surgery options.
She is a member of the American Optometric Association, the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, the American Academy of Optometry and the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She also enjoys working as a New Jersey Special Olympics volunteer and with various Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity
