Dr. John Goertz is Director of Optometric Services and Clinic Manager at Nebraska Laser Eye Associates, and Clinical Director of TLC Laser Eye Centers – Omaha facility where he specializes in the pre- and post-operative management of refractive and cataract surgery patients. Dr. Goertz has been involved with the management of over 30,000 LASIK cases as well as a number of Photo Refractive Keratectomy (PRK), Refractive Lensectomy and cataract patients. Dr. Goertz underwent LASIK in 1999.
Education:
Dr. Goertz received his Doctorate of Optometry from the University of Houston College of Optometry in Houston, TX. He completed his residency at the Hospital-Based Optometry in Baltimore/Fort Howard Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Centers in Baltimore, MD.
Memberships/Honors:
Dr. Goertz is a board-certified Diplomat of the American Board of Optometry and Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He is a member of the American Optometric Association, the Nebraska Optometric Association, the Iowa Optometric Association, and the Kansas Optometric Association.
