EDUCATION
Dr. Melko completed undergraduate studies at The University of Florida, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics. Dr. Melko graduated from Salus University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree and a Doctor of Optometry Degree. Dr. Melko completed hospital and disease internships at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center at Bethesda and University of Maryland Medical Center as well as a low vision internship at the Feinbloom Low Vision Center of The Eye Institute.
EXPERIENCE
Prior to joining the TLC Annapolis LASIK team, Dr. Melko served as an Optometrist in the U.S. Navy providing primary eye care to active duty, retirees and family members. Dr. Melko also cared for pre and post-operative refractive surgery patients during her time with the Navy. Dr. Melko also served in the U.S. Air Force acting as an Analytical Scientist to conduct Operations Research projects.

Dr. Melko has been an active member of the American Optometric Association, the National Capital Region Federal Optometric Society, and the Maryland Board of Optometry.
