Dr. Anne Jacobs, a highly regarded Clinical Assistant Professor at Case Western Reserve, is dedicated to educating and supervising Ophthalmology Residents while simultaneously contributing her expertise to the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center. She has performed thousands of procedures including laser vision correction, cataract surgery and aesthetic treatments. Dr. Jacobs is passionate not only about preserving and enhancing vision but also about the art of facial aesthetics. Dr. Jacobs embarked on her journey in the field of medicine at West Virginia University School of Medicine, where she earned her medical degree. She further honed her skills through Ophthalmology Residency training at Case Western Reserve. In 1986, she established her practice, Jacobs Eye Center, in Avon, Ohio. Dr. Jacobs has been a valuable member of the medical staff at Mercy Regional Medical Center since 1986. Over the course of more than two decades, she actively contributed to the medical staffs and committees at UH-St. John, Elyria Medical Centers, and Mercy Premium Surgery Centers.

Dr. Jacobs boasts an impressive career marked by her certification from the American Board of Ophthalmology since 1987. She holds esteemed fellowships with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. Dr. Jacobs is an active member of the Ohio Ophthalmological Society and the Cleveland Ophthalmological Society. She was a nominee for the YWCA Woman of the Year in Lorain County. She is very proud of being named Attending Physician of the year in 2018 and 2019 by Case Western/ University Hospitals Ophthalmology Program.
