"As a truck driver, being out in all kinds of weather with glasses is a royal pain. So now after the TLC laser surgery, I no longer need glasses to drive and 90% Of the time I can read without the over-the-counter glasses. My eye doctor now says I am almost 20/20 and he is totally amazed at the improvement in my vision at each visit. Aside from my kids and my wife, this was the best decision I ever made. And I would do it again.

"My new vision is just as advertized and better. I find it hard to remeber what it was like to wear contacts and glasses and it's only been 6 months. I had been wearing glasses since I was five and gas permeable contact lenses for the past fifteen years. My left eye was -10 and my right eye -10.5. Blind as a bat. It took almost a year to get out of the contacts and let my cornea's relax into their natural shape. It was worth the wait. Lasik was the greatest gift I could ever give myself. I still ride quads, snorkel, enjoy hiking and working out, but I do it now with a freedom that amazes me. That's what Lasik and Dr. Villazon gave me. FREEDOM! Something as simple as riding in a car with the windows open and the breeze blowing in my face (no dirt in my contacts)leaves a bubble of joy and excitement in my chest. I have already sent three people that I know of to TLC. And I will continue to promote TLC whenever I can. I always suffer from "buyers remorse". This is one time I can say I do not regret spending the money. It was worth every penny to give myself the gift of clear vision. It is something I appreciate every day. I had Custom Lasik in May of 2004, and went from about 20/200(pretty much legally blind) to 20/20 just one day after surgery. This past summer, I was able to dunk my head in the ocean (something my husband had never seen me do) and not worry about losing my contacts. I have a three year old son, and now I don't have to wear my glasses to bed anymore when my husband is away on business, just in case something were to happen in the middle of the night. Having to wear glasses and contacts for someone with eyes as bad as mine was truly not a vanity issue, it was really about quality of life. I never had very crisp vision with my contacts, and they always became dry and uncomfortable by the end of the day; I also had bad vision in glasses for some reason and tried to wear them as little as possible.

I had researched Lasik eye surgery for about 2 years and was referred to TLC from my eye doctor. I read all the information on Dr. Villazon and was pleased with his background as a Corneal Specialist. The staff at TLC was very caring, truthful and knowledgeable, and with all the testing they did at my consultation, I truly knew that I was a candidate for the surgery. I did not feel that they were just trying to make a quick buck off of me; I felt that TLC had my best interest at heart. Before and during surgery, I was not nervous at all because I felt comfortable with the procedure and how it was explained to me. It really helped that Dr.Villazon came and talked to me about the procedure a few minutes before surgery. He was extremely nice and talked me through the surgery as it was being performed. It was quick (about 15 minutes) and relatively painless, and I was able to tell right away that my vision had improved tremendously. The best feeling was walking out of the office and dropping my glasses into the basket at the front desk, it was so freeing!

The recovery went pretty much how it was explained to me, and it even helped that a lot of the staff had the surgery as well; I was able to get first hand information from them on what to expect. I have told a lot of friends about TLC, and do not regret for one second in having the surgery; it really has CHANGED MY LIFE!!!

It has been more than 8 months since I had Lasik and am still amazed every day at how well I can see. I have gone to all of my follow up visits and my vision has just gotten even better over time. I was worried that I might have some night vision issues that can sometimes happen with Lasik, but I see better at night than I ever had with glasses or contacts. I had some of the normal eye dryness, but I used rewetting drops and after a few months, that went away completely. It's so nice to be able to get up in the morning and be able to see without glasses or contacts. Last Christmas, my husband got me a clock that shows the time in big numbers on the ceiling. It was a nice concept, but I could not even see the numbers because I was so blind. Now I can see a clock from across the room. It's amazing!

This surgery is not for everyone, but for those considering it, laser vision correction is truly an incredible thing; I see so many things much clearer now. Most people take for granted what a great gift perfect eyesight is, unless you have vision as bad or worse than mine was. I had a great experience with TLC and would recommend them to anyone.

I am now 59 years old and have needed glasses since 2 years old; very bad asigmatism and progressive lenses as I work on computers.

The best part of the surgery was the next morning when I awoke and could read the time on the clock radio without fumbling for glasses and the next thing was looking at my beautiful wife and actually seeing her without the glasses getting in the way for the first time

Yes, I need reading glasses, but I am 59!

It was truly a joy to not have foggy glasses and worrying about breakage; and of course replacing these $7 magnifiers at the discount houses is no big deal
