Santiago Villazon, Jr. MD - Medical Director
TRAINING: Dr. Villazon graduated cum laude from Yale University and went on to Yale University School of Medicine where he received his medical degree. He completed his residency training in ophthalmology at Boston University Medical Center.
LASIK EXPERIENCE: Dr. Villazon was selected for a surgical fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at Boston University Medical Center. Having this intense corneal training makes Dr. Villazon uniquely qualified to perform laser vision correction. He is currently one of the most experienced laser surgeons in the Greater Boston area.
MEMBERSHIPS: Dr. Villazon is Board Certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and lectures and writes on many ophthalmic subjects especially related to the cornea. He is also a member of the International Society of Refractive Surgeons, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: In addition to his work at TLC Laser Eye Centers, Dr. Villazon is Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology at Boston University School of Medicine and an Affiliated Clinical Professor of Ophthalmology at the New England College of Optometry.
Dr. Villazon is fluent in Spanish. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, windsurfing, scuba, piano and guitar.
Ezra L. Galler M.D.

Education: Dr. Galler graduated Magna Cum Laude from Boston University and went on to receive his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine. He was selected for a one-year laser research fellowship at the prestigious Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, an affiliate of Harvard Medical School.
Clinical Training: Dr. Galler completed his residency training in ophthalmology and served as chief resident at Lenox Hill Hospital - New York University School of Medicine. He was then chosen for a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive Surgery at the New England Eye Center in Boston where he participated in the FDA trials of laser vision correction.
LASIK Experience: Dr. Galler is a board-certified ophthalmologist who has practiced in Rhode Island since 1995. A pioneer in laser vision correction, Dr. Galler was the first to perform the procedure in Rhode Island, and he is one of the most experienced LASIK surgeons in the area.
Accomplishments: Dr. Galler has authored numerous journal articles and textbook chapters and has lectured internationally on laser vision correction. In addition to LASIK, Dr. Galler specializes in cataract and corneal transplant surgery. He is Clinical Instructor of Ophthalmology at Brown University School of Medicine.
Memberships: Dr. Galler is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the International Society of Refractive Surgery. Dr. Galler is a member of the medical staff of The Rhode Island Hospital, Kent County Memorial Hospital, and The Miriam Hospital, and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Rhode Island Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
Awards: Recipient of the Top 100 Doctors Award For Laser Vision Centers Inc. in 2001 and 2002.
Personal: Dr. Galler is married with three children. In his spare time, he enjoys skiing, golf, theater and movies and semi-professional singing.
Dr. David Lampariello

Dr. David Lampariello is a 1988 graduate of the New England College of Optometry. He completed a residency in primary care optometry at the New England College of Optometry in 1989. He is currently the Clinical Director for TLC Laser Eye Centers in Waltham MA and Providence RI. He is an Associate Professor at the College of Optometry and a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry. He has lectured extensively on Laser vision correction and technologies related to surgical vision correction and participated in numerous dry eye and punctal plug lectures and workshops. He has also published a number of articles on a variety of ocular disease related topics.
