Dr. Louis Probst, M.D., F.R.C.S.C., LVC Surgeon - Medical Director of TLC Refractive Centers
Dr. Louis Probst, Medical Director of TLC Refractive Centers, is one of the most experienced surgeons in the world, having performed more than 90,000 LASIK procedures! In 1995, Dr. Probst began performing LASIK in Canada. He has since performed LASIK procedures using the best excimer lasers in the world, including the Bausch and Lomb Technolas 217, Nidek EC 5000, LaserSight LSX, Autonomous "flying spot" Ladar Vision, and the VISX Star S4 Smoothscan excimer lasers. Over 200 eye doctors have had their LASIK procedure performed by Dr. Probst.
Education/Training
Dr. Probst completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Western Ontario where he received four awards from his peers for outstanding achievement. He was selected among ophthalmologists across North America for a surgical corneal fellowship in corneal transplantation and refractive surgery at the University of Minnesota.
Memberships/Affiliations
Currently, Dr. Probst is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is a past Educational Director of the International Society of Refractive Surgery.
Honors/Accomplishments
In 2005 and 2006, Dr. Probst was selected by his peers as one of the Top 50 World Opinion Leaders in the Field of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. In 2004, Dr. Probst was awarded the Achievement Award by the American Academy of Ophthalmology and "Best paper" awards at the annual meetings of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, the Canadian Ophthalmology Society, and the American Academy of Ophthalmology.
Dr. Probst has given over 200 lectures and provides training to surgeons and eye doctors at refractive conferences throughout the world from Brazil to India. He has published over 50 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 70 book chapters and 6 textbooks on refractive surgery. As a leader in LASIK, he developed ten instruments specifically for refractive surgeons who perform LASIK procedures.

Jonathan Rosin, M.D.

Education/Training
Dr. Rosin completed his internship, residency and research fellowship at Northwestern University. He is currently a clinical instructor in ophthalmology at Northwestern University Medical School and previously served as the clinical practice director for the department of ophthalmology.
Honors/Accomplishments
Dr. Rosin is an active member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the Illinois Association of Ophthalmology, the International Society of Refractive Surgery, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Professional Interests
Dr. Rosin focuses his surgical skill on refractive surgery and has performed thousands of procedures over the past ten years. He has traveled extensively in order to bring the most up-to-date technologies to our patients. Dr Rosin also lectures on topics relating to refractive surgery.

Dr. George Goodman has been specializing in the management of patients undergoing refractive surgery since he went into practice in 1994. Dr. Goodman is the 3rd generation and 5th person in his family to go into the optometric profession.
Education/Training
Dr. Goodman received his Doctorate from Northeastern State University – Oklahoma College of Optometry (NSUOCO) in 1994. He did his undergraduate work at Northeastern State University (NSU) in Tahlequah, Oklahoma where he received his Bachelor of Science in Vision Science. Dr. Goodman is certified in Anterior Segment Ophthalmic Lasers, and Treatment and Management of Ocular Disease (TMOD). He is certified by the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) & Oklahoma Board of Narcotics (OBN) for Schedule III, IV, and V medications and has oral prescribing privileges for the relief of ocular abnormalities. Prior to coming to TLC, Dr. Goodman served as the Clinical Director for the Advanced Laser Center of Oklahoma for 5 years where he practiced with a corneal specialist and participated in the pre- and post-operative care of all forms of mainstream refractive surgeries.

Dr. Goodman is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA), the Optometric Council on Refractive Technologies (OCRT), the Illinois Optometric Association (IOA), the Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians (OAOP), and is an Adjunct Faculty Member at Northeastern State University – Oklahoma College of Optometry.
Honors/Accomplishments
In 2004, Dr. Goodman was invited to lecture at the first inaugural meeting of the Optometric Council on Refractive Technologies (OCRT) at the American Academy of Optometry. In 2006, Dr. Goodman was published twice in Review of Optometry on the subjects of Dry Eye and Corneal Biomechanics. As an Adjunct Faculty member at Northeastern State University – Oklahoma College of Optometry, Dr. Goodman established and facilitated the Externship program between the Advanced Laser Center of Oklahoma and NSUOCO. Dr. Goodman was recognized for his thesis entitled “Adjunctive Testing Utilized in the Earlier Diagnosis of Primary Open-Angle Glaucoma” and received the Pilkington Barnes Hind Recognition Award for Outstanding Achievement in Contact Lenses. Other extra-curricular activities include having served on both the ‘Board of Directors’ and the ‘Medical Advisory Board’ for the Oklahoma Lupus Association.
